Working with detailed engineering drawings, work instructions, and precision measuring instruments, you will help ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability before shipment to our customers.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work with advanced tools, technologies, and manufacturing processes while collaborating with operations, engineering, quality, and customer-focused teams. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly impact product performance, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssemble products and equipment according to engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, and work orders while performing required testing and verification activities.\nDisassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment during service and repair processes to restore products to required performance standards.\nInspect components and assemblies using precision measuring equipment to verify compliance with dimensional and quality specifications.\nOperate and maintain precision measurement and assembly tools, including micrometers, verniers, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), hydraulic torque wrenches, and other specialized equipment.\nTroubleshoot assembly and testing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to support product quality and efficiency.\nEnsure all components are properly cleaned, prepared, and assembled in accordance with established procedures and quality requirements.\nComplete assembly, inspection, and testing documentation accurately while supporting traceability and quality record requirements.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all Flowserve safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, procedure manuals, and work instructions.\nExperience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment to verify product conformance.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing data entry systems.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship and on-time delivery.\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations including ratios, percentages, and measurement conversions.\nAbility to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods while performing assembly and inspection activities.\nWillingness to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.\nPreferred Qualifications\n0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, repair, or related industrial environments.\nExperience assembling, repairing, or maintaining pumps, rotating equipment, valves, seals, or other mechanical equipment.\nWorkshop, machine shop, or service center experience.\nKnowledge of automation controls, instrumentation, or electrical components.\nExperience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or other advanced inspection equipment.\nBackground as a mechanic, precision assembler, maintenance technician, or general industrial mechanic.\nDemonstrated commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you'll find a range of options to fit your, and your family's, needs.
