Serves as a key cross-functional partner to purchasing, planning, receiving, and logistics teams, driving issue resolution, order execution, and procurement accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and strengthen supply chain performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage supplier communication for open orders, delivery dates, confirmations, and issue resolution\nBuild strong supplier relationships through consistent follow-up and professional communication\nExpedite purchase orders and identify delayed, at-risk, or short-shipped items\nTrack supplier performance, including on-time delivery, responsiveness, and order accuracy\nOwn resolution of supplier issues related to late shipments, discrepancies, quality concerns, and incomplete deliveries\nCoordinate inbound logistics, including shipment tracking, freight updates, and delivery confirmations\nMaintain accurate records of purchase orders, confirmations, receipts, shipping documents, and supplier correspondence\nPerform clerical and administrative tasks supporting purchasing, logistics, and supply chain teams\nUpdate ERP and procurement systems with order, shipment, and delivery information\nPrepare reports on open orders, overdue items, shipment status, and supplier performance\nHelp ensure timely delivery of materials needed for operations and customer commitments\nCoordinate with planning, inventory, engineering, quality, receiving, and accounting teams to support operational needs\nResolve invoice discrepancies, shipment issues, and purchase order variances with suppliers and internal stakeholders\nSupport continuous improvement efforts to streamline procurement processes, improve supplier performance, reduce lead times, and increase efficiency.\nQualifications\n1-3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or materials support\nStrong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills\nAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities\nAbility to work effectively with suppliers, freight providers, and internal teams\nExperience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel\nAbility to read and interpret basic technical documents such as purchase specifications, drawings, or material requirements\nBasic understanding of inventory control, purchasing, and materials planning\nUnderstanding of lead times, long-lead items, and supply risk for engineered parts\nFluency in spoken and written English is required\nPreferred Skills\nExperience expediting orders in a manufacturing or industrial environment\nFamiliarity with logistics coordination, shipping documents, and freight tracking\nExperience monitoring supplier performance and driving follow-up action\nExposure to engineering change management, material traceability, or quality documentation\nKnowledge of quality requirements, certifications, and traceability documents\nAbility to support technically complex purchased items or custom
