This position provides the opportunity to influence supplier performance, support commercial success, and contribute to operational excellence through strategic purchasing and supplier relationship management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, improve profitability, and drive on-time delivery for customers around the world.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and services required to support manufacturing operations and customer projects.\nNegotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.\nSupport commercial and service teams during the quotation process by obtaining competitive pricing and delivery commitments from suppliers.\nMonitor supplier performance and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.\nCoordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve supply chain, import/export, and delivery issues.\nEstablish and maintain supplier agreements that support preferred pricing, delivery performance, and long-term business objectives.\nReview inventory levels and purchasing requirements to help maintain optimal stock levels and minimize supply disruptions.\nPartner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Commercial Operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and business goals.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, and/or relevant purchasing or procurement experience.\nExperience with procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, or supply chain operations.\nKnowledge of purchasing practices, supplier negotiations, and contract or commercial terms.\nUnderstanding of technical products, manufacturing environments, and quality requirements.\nStrong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.\nProfessional proficiency in English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or engineered-to-order (ETO) environments.\nKnowledge of supplier quality, logistics, inventory management, and materials planning processes.\nExperience negotiating strategic supplier agreements and managing supplier performance metrics.\nFamiliarity with import/export processes and international supply chain operations.\nUnderstanding of engineered products, rotating equipment, pumps, valves, or related industrial technologies.\nExperience working within a global procurement or supply chain organization.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you'll find a range of options to fit your, and your family's, needs.
