Working closely with project managers, production leadership, quality, purchasing, and shipping teams, you will help ensure customer commitments, quality standards, inventory objectives, and delivery schedules are achieved. This is a highly visible role that directly impacts operational performance, customer satisfaction, and the successful execution of complex manufacturing and repair projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan and schedule production activities for assigned product lines based on production capacity, material availability, and customer requirements.\nDevelop and maintain manufacturing schedules, routings, and work orders to support production and on-time delivery objectives.\nCoordinate with purchasing, production, quality, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure materials, labor, and resources are aligned with production demands.\nMonitor workflow, production priorities, and delivery commitments, adjusting schedules as needed to address material shortages, labor constraints, or changing customer requirements.\nCreate and maintain digital and physical job routings, verify material availability, and ensure required production documentation is accurate and complete.\nLead planning meetings and communicate production status, priorities, risks, and schedule changes to stakeholders.\nIdentify and resolve production bottlenecks, inventory challenges, NCR-held materials, and operational issues that impact schedule performance.\nSupport root cause investigations, corrective actions, inventory management initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance manufacturing efficiency and delivery performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum of 3 years of production planning, scheduling, or materials planning experience within a manufacturing environment.\nWorking knowledge of scheduling logic, capacity planning, demand planning, input/output control, product structures, routings, and standards maintenance.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding, NDE, and hydrostatic testing.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and other business software tools.\nStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and levels of the organization.\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize work, manage competing demands, and drive accountability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing workflow in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing or repair environment.\nBS or BA degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.\nExperience within the nuclear industry or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.\nKnowledge of inventory management, detailed production scheduling, and demand management principles.\nExperience participating in continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action processes.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you'll find a range of options to fit your and your family's needs.
