You will partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Suppliers, and Customers to identify quality risks, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and making a direct impact on product reliability and customer satisfaction.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate inbound, in-process, and final product inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements.\nTranslate customer specifications, engineering drawings, and industry standards into inspection plans and quality requirements.\nInvestigate nonconformances and support corrective and preventive action activities, including root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.\nPartner with suppliers to resolve quality issues and support supplier audits, testing, and corrective actions.\nMonitor quality performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.\nSupport Material Review Board (MRB) activities and disposition of nonconforming materials.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve product and process quality concerns.\nMaintain compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and quality methodologies.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, or a related quality role supporting physical products.\nExperience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and quality requirements.\nExperience with nonconformance management, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and quality problem-solving methodologies.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment supporting industrial, engineered, or mechanical products.\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems, audits, and quality documentation requirements.\nExperience with CAPA, NCRs, MRB, supplier corrective actions, control plans, PPAP, PFMEA, or DFMEA.\nExperience using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, 8D, and Pareto Analysis.\nStrong data analysis skills, including experience with Minitab or similar statistical software.\nLean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training or certification.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you'll find a range of options to fit your, and your family's, needs.
