The successful candidate will leverage technical documentation, parts catalogs, and business systems to help customers identify solutions that support their operational needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nRespond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding pricing, parts availability, repair services, order status, and aftermarket support.\nPrepare and process quotations, sales orders, change orders, shipping instructions, and related documentation.\nUtilize Flowserve parts catalogs, technical documentation, and reference materials to identify products and support customer requests.\nSupport order expediting activities and communicate delivery status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.\nCollaborate with Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, Production Planning, Operations, and Customer Service teams to support customer requirements.\nResolve customer concerns and service issues through effective problem-solving and cross-functional coordination.\nIdentify and recommend alternative products, parts, or solutions when requested items are unavailable.\nReview customer contracts and documentation to ensure commercial and operational requirements are understood and fulfilled.\nDiscuss customer requirements related to pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial agreements.\nAssist with accounts receivable activities, including approved credits, discounts, and payment-term inquiries.\nMaintain accurate and organized customer records, quotations, transactions, and sales documentation.\nUtilize SAP and other business systems to research inventory, process orders, verify product availability, and support customer transactions.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nCustomer service, inside sales, sales support, order management, or commercial support experience.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nExcellent attention to detail and data accuracy.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.\nAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts related to pricing, discounts, quotations, and order processing.\nStrong customer-service orientation and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated capabilities.\nSAP experience, including quoting, order processing, inventory inquiries, and order-status management.\nExperience with ERP, CRM, or order management systems.\nExperience supporting industrial products, mechanical seals, pumps, valves, or rotating equipment.\nKnowledge of commercial terms, contracts, pricing structures, and customer account management.\nExperience supporting manufacturing, industrial service, or aftermarket operations.\nAbility to interpret technical documentation, parts breakdowns, and engineering drawings.\nExperience working with distributors, industrial customers, and customer service organizations.\nKnowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.\nExperience supporting domestic and international customer transactions.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you'll find a range of options to fit your, and your family's, needs.
