You will own and develop a supplier portfolio, support commercial teams with advance procurement input, and help strengthen supply continuity for customer projects.\nIn this role, you will work closely with supply chain, operations, service centers, and suppliers to improve profitability and on-time delivery. Your sourcing expertise, commercial judgment, and ability to resolve supply challenges will directly support Flowserve’s business strategy and customer commitments.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute just-in-time purchasing practices to ensure materials and services are available to support manufacturing and project requirements.\nNegotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery commitments, and commercial conditions with suppliers to maximize value and profitability.\nSupport commercial operations and service centers during the quotation process by obtaining competitive supplier pricing and delivery information.\nManage purchase orders and follow up with external suppliers and intercompany teams to ensure on-time delivery.\nDevelop and maintain supplier agreements that improve pricing, delivery performance, and supply reliability.\nEvaluate supplier performance, identify delivery or quality risks, and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and suppliers.\nResolve import, logistics, and delivery issues affecting materials required at the local service center.\nReview inventory and stock levels to maintain appropriate material availability while supporting inventory optimization.\nApply technical and quality requirements when sourcing products and services to ensure supplier compliance with project and customer specifications.\nMaintain accurate purchasing records and use ERP/MRP systems to support planning, reporting, and order management.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field, with 5-7 years of relevant purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.\nDemonstrated experience negotiating supplier pricing, delivery terms, and commercial agreements.\nWorking knowledge of supplier evaluation, supplier development, supplier quality, logistics, and procurement processes.\nExperience sourcing technical products or services while applying product specifications and quality requirements.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP systems.\nProfessional fluency in English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience purchasing for engineered-to-order or project-based manufacturing environments.\nExperience working with foundries, castings, or casting suppliers.\nExperience supporting service centers, aftermarket operations, or industrial equipment manufacturing.\nKnowledge of customer, quality, and technical requirements within Flowserve’s markets.\nExperience establishing strategic supplier agreements and managing supplier portfolios.\nStrong global sourcing and strategic negotiation skills.\nExperience managing import processes, international logistics, or cross-border supplier relationships.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Flowserve, you’ll find a range of options to fit your and your family’s needs.
