This role will be responsible for overseeing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery, conducting and tracking ongoing data audits, and maintaining employee tax setup and compliance requirements.\nThe ideal candidate brings extensive payroll experience, a solid understanding of employment tax requirements, and proven leadership experience in managing and developing a payroll team.\nIdeally, the role will be based in the Czech Republic or Poland and it´s a remote role.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and oversee international payroll processes, including manual checks and issue resolution.\nSupervise, coach, and develop the payroll team.\nEnsure payroll tax compliance, handle notices, audits, and amendments.\nMaintain accurate payroll and employee tax data, including expatriates and foreign nationals.\nManage third-party payroll/tax vendors and partnership with internal stakeholders.\nDrive continuous process improvements and escalate complex issues as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in finance field.\nStrong international payroll knowledge with 5-7 years’ experience.\nFluent German is a must. Additionally, proficiency in either English or Hungarian is required, with a strong preference for English.\nHigh attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to create/maintain payroll controls.\nExcellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.\nProven leadership abilities with strong organizational and time-management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdvanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP systems (Workday, Kronos, Celergo, Horizon) is an advantage\nWhat we can offer you\nAt Flowserve, we offer a range of benefits designed to support you and your family at every stage of life.
