This role ensures the proper installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of FLSmidth equipment, driving customer satisfaction and long-term equipment performance.\nYou will act as a key technical liaison between customers and our engineering, product, and service teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform installation supervision, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and inspections of FLSmidth equipment at customer sites.\n\nProvide hands-on technical support for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\n\nEnsure work is carried out safely and in compliance with FLSmidth and customer safety standards.\n\nSupport root cause analysis (RCA) and provide recommendations to optimize performance.\n\nDeliver clear and professional service reports, documentation, and feedback to internal teams.\n\nTrain customer personnel on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and best practices.\n\nCollaborate with the commercial and engineering teams to identify opportunities for service improvement and aftermarket solutions.\n\nActively represent FLSmidth in customer interactions, building trust and long-term relationships.\n\nMaintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and adhere to field safety protocols.\n\nTravel to various mine sites within Brazil and occasionally to other countries in South America.\n\nTechnical Skills and Knowledge:\nSolid knowledge of mechanical and/or electromechanical equipment such as HPGRs, crushers, sizers, ball/vert mills, thickners, filters, flotation cells, rotary kilns or related machines.\n\nFamiliarity with hydraulic systems, instrumentation, and process.\n\nProficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.\n\nHands-on experience with diagnostic tools and service softwares.\n\nKnowledge of maintenance best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.\n\nQualifications and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic Engineering or similar.\n\nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in field service of these equipment mentioned.\n\nExperience working in mine sites or heavy industrial environments.\n\nStrong communication and customer service orientation.\n\nProficiency in Portuguese (required) and intermediate English and/or spanish (reading/writing/speaking).\n\nAvailability to travel frequently (up to 90%) within Brazil and occasionally internationally.\n\nValid driver's license.\n\nBehavioural Traits:\nHigh level of personal responsibility and safety awareness.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical mindset.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.\n\nAdaptable to dynamic environments and changing customer needs.\n\nClear communicator and capable of delivering technical information to non-technical audiences.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nA role in a purpose-driven company contributing to a more sustainable mining industry.\n\nProfessional development, training, and growth opportunities in a global organization.\n\nExposure to cutting-edge technology.\n\nCompetitive compensation, benefits, and supportive work environment.\n\nBe part of something bigger.
