We know you want to be successful at work and at home, and together we can ensure that both our business goals and your personal aspirations are met.\nKey Accountabilities\nOperates automatic and/or manual equipment to process batches of bulk materials/ingredients in accordance with operating procedures. Inspects equipment and its auxiliaries (e.g. apron conveyor, belt conveyors, hydraulic system, all discharge chutes, leakages from gear box or fluid couplings) before starting of equipment.\nYour Responsibilities\nCarries out advanced checks using checklist, prior to starting equipment and for running equipment. • Responsible for the start-up and operation of equipment (e.g. crusher) machines used in production processes. • Determines and corrects machine malfunctions of high complexity. • Oversees clearing of hopper blockages as per the safety procedures. • Ensures throughput and quality standards are achieved. • Liaises with key stakeholders in the event of any production stoppages.\nPerform quality work by following instructions and procedures.\nPractice tool management by properly using and caring for tools and equipment.\nRead drawings to complete rebuild jobs.\nManage warehousing activities keeping parts stock according to the inventory.\nMaintain tools and equipment at the shop in proper condition.\nSupport technically FLSmidth products visiting customers in the area. • Promote a \"safety first\" culture by active participation at safety toolbox meetings, continuous evaluation of the work site for potential hazards or unsafe actions, use of proper Personal Protective Equipment \"PPE\" to the site or work to be performed, and reporting near misses/hazards, accidents, or injuries (no matter the severity) and identify unsafe equipment/work per company guidelines.\n What You Bring:\nPreferred is 5 years of experience performing mechanical construction or mechanical repairs of industrial process equipment.\nAble to perform metal working techniques (grinding; cutting; welding) and alignment methods to efficiently deliver a consistent level of quality.\nCapable of using a computer and software systems (MS-Office, MS-Project, Adobe, and similar).\nWillingness to travel and work with a team of professionals.\nPump rebuilds experience.\nAbility to prioritize work, coordinate multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong interpersonal, influence, and conflict-resolution skills.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive wages and Benefits package (Extended Health, Dental, Life Insurance, AD&D, Health Spending Account, Optional Critical Illness, Short and Long-Term Disability).\nTime to recharge through 3 weeks’ annual vacation.\nProgram for retirement preparation.\nHelp when you need it through our Employee Assistance Program.\nA global network of supportive colleagues and growth opportunities•.\nAs an equal-opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.\nWe encourage applicants of all backgrounds and perspectives to apply - the more diverse our employees are, the stronger our team is.
