This role is all about helping our payroll function evolve, scale and shine.\nThis is an individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to support global standardization initiatives and implementations, engage with key stakeholders and act as advisory for our payroll function. You will also be responsible for operational payroll activities in selected locations from the region.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nSupport process improvement and standardization initiatives across North and South America payrolls, in alignment with the FLS Global practices\n\nOwn a payroll process in collaboration with our external payroll vendors, by sharing payroll input data, validating calculations and ensuring timely payments to employees and statutory agencies\n\nAlign with stakeholders across HR, Finance and Business owners to drive mutual initiatives, solve and unblock challenges\n\nMaintain and promote a high focus on employee experience\n\nProactively support our KPI and SLA targets\n\nAssist in payroll vendor service assessment and integrations\n\nEnsure compliance with FLS global policies and procedures\n\nSupport in external or internal audit initiatives\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nSolid experience in payroll operations of 5+ years, with exposure to any of the following countries: Brazil, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Canada, US\n\nExperience in working with global payroll vendors such as ADP, CloudPay or others\n\nWorkday experience is a plus\n\nFluency in English, working-level proficiency in Spanish\n\nFocus on efficiency, structure, and clarity\n\nAn excellent grasp of payroll systems, tools, and automation opportunities, including handling implementations or integrations\n\nExcellent communication and coordination skills\n\nA mindset that’s equal parts pragmatic and strategic - you’re not afraid to get into the weeds but always have the bigger picture in mind\n\nWhat We offer\nA global network of supportive colleagues and growth opportunities\n\nHybrid working environment and flexible working hours\n\nCompany benefits for healthcare and medical insurance, private pension, life insurance\n\nMeal vouchers and holiday vouchers for Easter & Christmas\n\nAs an equal opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
