The engineer will work closely with Platform Engineering (L3), vendors, and service owners to ensure reliable and efficient IT operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide Level 2 operational support for enterprise infrastructure platforms.\nMonitor infrastructure health and respond proactively to alerts and incidents.\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents within agreed SLAs.\nExecute standard operational activities and scheduled maintenance.\nPerform routine system health checks and operational validations.\nSupport server patching, backup monitoring, and recovery validation.\nPerform basic virtual machine provisioning, decommissioning, and resource management.\nCoordinate with vendors and internal support teams for issue resolution.\nEscalate complex technical issues to L3 teams with appropriate diagnostics and documentation.\nParticipate in Major Incident and Problem Management activities.\nMaintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and runbooks.\nRequired Technical Skills\nCandidate should possess L2 level administrative knowledge on the any of the 5 core skills mentioned below\nAzure IaaS, OCI IaaS, File services,VMware, Windows operating system, Oracle Linux, Citrix, AVD, Backup services, Monitoring, Patching, MS-SQL, Oracle DBA, Data Center management\nIT Service Management\nServiceNow (or equivalent ITSM platform)\nIncident Management\nChange Management\nService Request Fulfilment\nExperience & Qualifications\n3-6 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations or Platform Support.\nExperience supporting enterprise Windows Server environments.\nExperience supporting VMware infrastructure.\nExposure to Azure or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.\nGood understanding of ITIL processes and operational support practices.\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple incidents in a
