Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.\nDepartment:Crushers\nRole:\nThe Product Engineer is responsible for executing mechanical engineering activities within the crusher product line, supporting product development initiatives and customer-specific projects. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet performance, cost, and schedule objectives. The Product Engineer plays a key role in maintaining design integrity, advancing product standardization, and driving continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, this position provides technical leadership by guiding engineers, designers, and drafters throughout project execution.\nYour responsibilities\nAs an Engineer, shall act as product expert and leads the development and performance of the products to ensure that they are functioning according to quality and cost expectations.\n\nExecute mechanical engineering tasks for both product development and customer purchase order projects.\n\nEnsure design integrity, technical accuracy, and compliance with specifications across all assigned projects.\n\nDeliver engineering packages on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.\n\nLead and direct the work of engineers, designers, and drafters to achieve project objectives.\n\nReview and approve engineering deliverables, including 2D drawings and 3D models.\n\nPerform and review mechanical calculations to validate designs and ensure performance requirements are met.\n\nAnalyze complex engineering challenges and develop innovative or improved design solutions.\n\nContribute to product standardization, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nParticipate in research and development efforts to enhance product performance and reliability.\n\nReview customer specifications and ensure alignment with engineering designs and deliverables.\n\nSupport manufacturing and operations teams by resolving technical issues and enabling cost optimization initiatives.\n\nAssist in the development and maintenance of engineering standards, design guides, and control procedures.\n\nProvide mentorship and technical development support to team members.\n\nTravel to job sites and regional offices to support installations, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with sales efforts.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful completion of team and organizational goals.\n\nPromote and uphold a strong culture of safety for both individuals and teams.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nTo qualify for this position, you must have the following minimum qualifications and experience\nStrong proficiency in mechanical engineering fundamentals and design principles.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n\nProficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD). Specify the primary software worked on.\n\nExperience in designing industrial equipment. Previous experience with mining equipment is preferred.\n\nKnowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g., casting, forging, welding, machining, sheet metal fabrication), materials and quality standards.\n\nFamiliarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and application.\n\nBasic understanding of the design requirements of other disciplines.\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead and coordinate the work of designers, and drafters.\n\nStrong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in crusher equipment, mining machinery, or bulk material handling systems.\n\nFamiliarity with product development processes, value engineering, and standardization practices.\n\nFamiliarity with GD&T methods.\n\nExperience supporting manufacturing, sourcing, and cost-reduction initiatives.\n\nUnderstanding of cross-disciplinary engineering requirements (electrical, controls, etc.).\n\nExperience in change management and conflict resolution within engineering projects.\nEducation Qualification\nPostgraduate/Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering from a reputed university or equivalent.\nExperience\nMinimum of 8 -
