Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.\nJob Summary:\nFLSmidth is seeking a highly motivated Product Specialist for our Separations Service Business Line (Flotation, Thickening & Precious Metals Recovery). This role will be based in Central Asia & India (CA&I) region.\nThe role involves contributing to the development, promotion, and technical support of our Separation technologies and products, ensuring their optimal performance and market competitiveness within the mining and mineral processing industries.\nJob Responsibilities:\nProvide expert technical support to sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding FLSmidth's separation equipment and solutions.\nSupport Sales & Service areas with the execution of Separations Service Line strategy, including support with high-impact opportunities and new opportunities within the region.\nProvide technical and commercial input to the proposals team in preparing high quality proposals.\nConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and areas for improvement in existing offerings.\nContribute to the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through launch and end-of-life, for assigned Separation products.\nDevelop and deliver technical presentations, training materials, and product documentation for internal and external audiences.\nCollaborate with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure product specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements are met.\nParticipate in customer visits, site assessments, and commissioning activities to troubleshoot issues and optimize product performance.\nGather customer feedback and translate it into actionable product development initiatives.\nSupport the creation of marketing collateral and sales tools for Separation products.\nStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to separation processes.\nJob Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, technical sales, or applications engineering within the mining or mineral processing industry, with a focus on separation technologies (e.g., Flotation, Thickeners and Precious Metals Recovery equipment).\nStrong understanding of Separation principles, equipment, and their application in various mineral processing circuits.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.\nProven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 40-60%).\nJob Offer:\nCompetitive remuneration package on offer. \nWork-life balance with a flexible work schedule so you can focus on professional and personal priorities. \nSince 1882, FLSmidth has operated successfully within a global environment. \nDevelopment and training within a respected global OEM company. \nAccess to salary packaging options to allow you to maximize your after-tax income. \nPurchased annual leave options. \nPaid Parental Leave \nAccess to a recognition and benefits platform.\nAs an equal opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
