Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.\nDepartment\nYou will be part of Supply Chain Execution, Africa Region\nSenior Order Execution Specialist\nManages end-to-end spare parts order execution, ensuring timely delivery, process compliance, and customer satisfaction.\nManages aftermarket projects for mining customers through cross-functional coordination, order execution, and customer engagement.\nKey Responsibilities / Key Individual Accountabilities\nOwn the order handling process for standard spare parts from receipt of purchase order to delivery and invoicing\nValidate customer orders against proposals and ensure all required information is available for order entry\nAccurately enter orders in ERP/CRM systems and track their progress through to fulfillment\nMonitor lead times, material availability, and production schedules to ensure on-time delivery (SIFOT/DIFOT)\nCoordinate with Procurement, Planning, and Logistics to ensure smooth execution of each order\nCommunicate proactively with customers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, and any delays\nEnsure compliance with export control, documentation, and invoicing requirements\nHandle changes, cancellations, and urgent order escalations efficiently and professionally\nCollaborate with Customer Relations and Sales to follow up on overdue receivables when required\nManage customer communication, order status updates, escalations, and issue resolution.\nPrepare and maintain revenue, order intake, backlog, and delivery performance reports.\nArrange and facilitate customer meetings, reviews, and follow-up actions.\nCollaborate closely with key Russian-speaking customers and stakeholders, leveraging Russian language proficiency to support business operations and customer satisfaction.\nDocument and close orders in alignment with internal policies and ensure traceability of records.\nInterface with Internal Stake Holders:\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with customer, sales, procurement, logistics & Engineering to ensure timely execution of orders.\nObserves and executes all job responsibilities in accordance with established company policies, procedures, and FLS standards\nImplements improvements to team business processes\nPromotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities\nWhat you bring\nYou are a Global Business Engineer or have a comparable background.\nYour previous career has provided you with experience within the cross field of proposal/ order execution /customer relations.\nYou are used to foreseeing and solving potential problems.\nYou are proactive and have a structured approach to your tasks, enabling you to handle several cases at a time.\nYou have a cross-cultural understanding and can communicate with people of different nationalities and professional backgrounds.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in engineering Engineering.\nAdditional certifications in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, or ERP systems are considered an asset.\nExperience\n8+ years of experience in Order Execution, Order Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain within industrial, manufacturing, mining, or aftermarket service environments.\nProven experience managing end-to-end order fulfillment from order receipt through delivery and invoicing.\nExperience coordinating with cross-functional teams across multiple countries and time zones.\nStrong customer-facing experience, including managing key accounts and conducting customer meetings.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong understanding of order management, supply chain and customer service processes.\nProficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle or similar).\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI.\nAbility to analyze order backlogs, delivery performance, revenue, and operational KPIs.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nFluent in English, with the ability to support customer communications, meetings, and business reviews.\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive benefit package including Health Insurance, Personal Accident / Disability, Group Term Life Insurance, Annual health check-up, and voluntary insurance option\nWork-life balance with a flexible work schedule so you can focus on professional and personal priorities\nFinancial support for continuing education\nEmployee Assistance Program\nA global network of supportive colleagues and growth opportunities\nAs an equal opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
