For more information, please visit fluenceenergy.com.\nJob Description:\nThe Claims Manager Germany will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of claims related to our projects across multiple countries in the EMEA region, with a strong focus on Germany. In this role as part of an EMEA wide Claims Team, you will support the EMEA Operational Teams in asserting or defending claims. This is not an isolated position, you will add value as part of a team, working in close interaction with your colleagues.\nKey Responsibilities\nGather, question, process, and analyze relevant facts and documentation to assess the situation.\nDevelop strategies for asserting or defending claims.\nBe part of the team that defines our commercial and legal strategy with customers and suppliers in case of mutual claims.\nPrepare reports and recommendations on how to best handle claims and disputes.\nAnalyze project delays with the team and guide your colleagues in documenting delays and other project impacts.\nWork closely with Commercial Project Managers, Project Managers, Quality, Procurement and Legal to assess and manage disputes, ensuring we act based on facts, solid reasoning, and reliability. You will identify risks for Fluence accurately, report transparently, and constantly think about avoidance strategies.\nEstablish processes for Claims Management. If you see weaknesses, speak up and help to fix them. Train and exchange ideas with colleagues on how to support effective claims handling.\nWork closely with various stakeholders and management, feeling comfortable as an active, trusted advisor.\nRequired Qualifications and Experience\nYou are responsible, agile, and possess strong leadership skills\nYou have at least 5+ years of experience in Contract and Claims Management within the plant construction industry. Ideally within the energy sector and battery projects\nYou hold a technical, commercial, or legal degree and can handle claims in both German and English\nSolid experience managing, asserting or defending claims, and developing strategies for risk mitigation and claim prevention across different EMEA markets.\nYou can build a strong partnership with lawyers, commercial and technical colleagues as your everyday sparring partners and collaborators.\nYou can adapt and enjoy working in a diverse environment, interacting with many stakeholders, and integrating seamlessly into the team.\nYou possess excellent judgment, both in business and interpersonal matters.\nYou can assert Fluence’s claims while still being well-liked by the other side.
