For more information, please visit fluenceenergy.com.\nJob Description:\nRole Overview\nAs a Junior Project Manager at Fluence, you will support the successful delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Ireland, the UK, and the wider EMEA region. Working within a global, cross-functional environment, you will assist Senior Project Managers throughout the full project lifecycle, from project initiation and engineering through construction, commissioning, and operational handover.\nThis role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop project management expertise within the renewable energy sector. You will gradually take ownership of smaller projects, system upgrades, and designated work packages while collaborating with engineering, procurement, finance, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time project delivery.\n2. Key Responsibilities\nSupport Senior Project Managers in the delivery of utility-scale energy storage projects across all project phases.\nMaintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk registers, action logs, and punch lists.\nCoordinate deliverables across engineering, procurement, logistics, finance, legal, quality, and operational teams.\nOrganize and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and support customer reporting activities.\nTake ownership of assigned small-scale projects, customer change orders, plant upgrades, and project work packages.\nMonitor project schedules, milestones, and progress using project management tools and reporting processes.\nSupport budget tracking, invoice reviews, purchase order management, cash flow forecasting, and cost control activities.\nAssist in identifying and managing project risks, scope changes, and improvement opportunities.\nEnsure compliance with Fluence health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.\nConduct site visits to support construction, testing, commissioning, and energization activities.\nPartner with contractors, field teams, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve project issues and maintain effective communication.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned activities, and project management best practices.\n3. Required Qualifications and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or another relevant technical discipline.\n1-2 years of professional experience in project coordination, project management, engineering, or construction.\nExperience within renewable energy, power generation, utilities, energy infrastructure, or industrial projects.\nUnderstanding of fundamental project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.\nExperience working with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or similar planning software.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, international, and cross-functional environment.\nWillingness and ability to travel regularly to project sites (approximately 25-30%).\n4.
