In this role, you will be responsible for Planning activities for configuration in collaboration with Engineering, manufacturing, supply chain & procurement stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of product configuration management process (Preferably CM level II certification/ work experience). Hands on experience in Windchill PLM or any relevant PLM systems, Exposure to ISO/EIA or related configuration standards, good understanding of PLM-ERP tools functionalities\nKey Responsibilities:\nBOM Creation and Management\nDevelop and maintain accurate and detailed Bills of Materials for all products.\nEnsure that all components, sub-assemblies, and materials are correctly listed and categorized.\nUpdate BOMs as design changes, improvements, or corrections are made.\nCollaboration with Design and Engineering Teams\nWork closely with design and engineering teams to understand product specifications and requirements.\nEnsure that BOMs align with the latest product designs and engineering drawings.\nCommunicate any discrepancies or issues between the BOM and design documents to relevant stakeholders.\nData Integrity and Documentation\nEnsure the integrity and accuracy of BOM data within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.\nMaintain thorough documentation of BOM revisions, changes, and approvals.\nImplement and manage a systematic approach to version control for BOMs\nChange Management\nManage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure all BOM updates are accurately reflected.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently.\nTrack and document the impact of changes on product cost, quality, and performance\nWhat will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?\nBachelor's degree in Mechancial/Electrical Engineering.\n3+ years of experience in Product configuration management , Windchill BOM Management experience will be added advantage.\nMandatory experience in Windchill with Options & Variants / Variant Configuration, along with strong Core BOM experience.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner.\nStrategic mindset with the ability to think critically, solve problems, and make informed decisions.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools/software\nFluence IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER and fully subscribes to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity to ensure that all applicants and employees are considered for hire, promotion, and job status without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital or familial status\nOur Culture\nAt Fluence, our culture is the foundation that drives our ambitious growth strategy and fuels our mission to transform the future of energy.
