For more information, please visit fluenceenergy.com.\nJob Description:\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct Validation & Quality Assurance\nDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures. \nValidate functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression requirements. \nPerform software verification and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle. \nReview product requirements and technical specifications to identify test scenarios and quality risks. \nInvestigate software defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. \nParticipate in release readiness reviews and ensure product quality standards are met. \nAdvocate quality engineering best practices and shift-left testing principles. \nTest Automation\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks. \nProficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript \nExperience with one or more automation frameworks : Pytest, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright \nCreate automated test suites for: \nWeb applications \nAPIs \nBackend services \nIndustrial control systems \nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. \nImprove automation coverage, execution efficiency, and reporting capabilities. \nIndustrial Automation & Controls Testing\nValidate control system applications. \nTest communication interfaces and protocols such as: \nModbus \nMQTT \nOPC UA \nIEC 61850 (preferred) \nValidate interactions between software applications and field devices, controllers, PLCs, and SCADA systems. \nSupport Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) test activities. \nParticipate in system-level testing and customer acceptance testing where required. \nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech) in: \nElectrical Engineering \nElectronics & Communication Engineering \nComputer Science \nRelated Engineering Discipline \nExperience\n5-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering. \nExperience in automation testing of enterprise software products and industrial control systems. \nProven experience developing automated test solutions and frameworks. \nTools & Technologies\nGit / GitHub \nJenkins / GitHub Actions \nCI/CD pipelines \nLinux environments \nDocker \nREST APIs \nTest Management Tools (Jira, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail) \nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). \nExperience with containerized applications and microservices. \nKnowledge of cybersecurity testing concepts for industrial systems. \nExposure to performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency testing. \nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent debugging and troubleshooting capabilities. \nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional global teams. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills. \nHigh attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. \nSelf-driven with a passion for continuous learning. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment. \nStrong ownership and accountability for product quality. \nOur Culture\nAt Fluence, our culture is the foundation that drives our ambitious growth strategy and fuels our mission to transform the future of energy.
