For more information, please visit fluenceenergy.com.\nJob Description:\nFluence is seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of our global SAP S/4HANA supply chain platform.\nThis role is responsible for defining end-to-end supply chain solutions across planning, procurement, manufacturing readiness, logistics, fulfillment, and finance integration, ensuring seamless alignment across SAP and connected enterprise systems.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong end-to-end SAP supply chain architecture experience with broad knowledge of SAP S/4HANA business processes, cross-functional integration, and scalable solution design. This role is primarily focused on enterprise supply chain architecture across the full operating model, rather than a single SAP functional specialty.\nIt is critical to building a scalable, globally integrated supply chain platform that can support Fluence’s growth, evolving operating model, external manufacturing partnerships, and future operational capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSolution Architecture, Design Leadership & Delivery Support\nLead end-to-end solution architecture across SAP supply chain processes, including Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Cost.\nTranslate business requirements into scalable, standardized, and supportable SAP solution designs.\nDesign scalable, integrated solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, PLM, and external systems.\nEnsure alignment across planning, procurement, manufacturing readiness, logistics, fulfillment, and finance processes.\nLead design workshops and guide architecture decisions across business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.\nDrive fit-to-standard adoption while supporting global business requirements.\nEvaluate solution trade-offs, dependencies, and downstream impacts across business processes, systems, and data.\nProvide architectural guidance to delivery teams through design, build, test, deployment, and stabilization.\nReview functional specifications, integration designs, and key configuration decisions for architectural alignment.\nCross-Functional Integration\nDefine integration across SAP modules, including PP, MM, SD, QM, FI/CO, and related master data.\nSupport multi-entity, multi-plant, intercompany, external manufacturing, and partner integration scenarios.\nEnsure upstream and downstream impacts are understood before solution decisions are finalized.\nRoadmap & Continuous Improvement\nContribute to the SAP supply chain technology roadmap.\nSupport adoption of advanced SAP capabilities such as IBP integration, aATP, external manufacturing integration, advanced fulfillment, automation, and analytics.\nIdentify opportunities to improve planning, execution, data quality, process consistency, and operational visibility.\nHelp establish scalable design patterns and governance practices for future SAP supply chain enhancements.\nStakeholder Engagement\nAct as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and IT stakeholders.\nInfluence decisions and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.\nPartner effectively with global teams, offshore delivery resources, and external implementation partners.\nCommunicate complex SAP design topics clearly and pragmatically to non-technical stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.\n10+ years of SAP experience across supply chain, procurement, logistics, fulfillment, planning, manufacturing, or related enterprise business processes.\nProven experience designing end-to-end SAP supply chain architectures across multiple functional areas.\nStrong understanding of cross-functional integration across SAP modules such as PP, MM, SD, QM, and FI/CO.\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA supply chain solution design.\nExperience supporting complex global environments, including multi-plant, multi-entity, intercompany, external manufacturing, or partner integration scenarios.\nAbility to translate business requirements into scalable, standardized, and supportable SAP solution designs.\nExperience working with global teams and external delivery partners.\nStrong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\nExperience with SAP IBP, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or integration with S/4HANA.\nExperience with SAP Production Planning, including MRP, BOMs, routings, production master data, or manufacturing execution integration.\nExperience with PLM integration and engineering change processes.\nExperience with Configure-to-Order, intercompany, and multi-plant scenarios.\nExposure to advanced intercompany processing and advanced STO scenarios.\nExposure to SAP aATP or advanced fulfillment capabilities.\nExperience integrating SAP with 3PL, warehouse, transportation, or external logistics providers.\nExperience with product costing, inventory valuation, or costed BOM processes.\nSAP S/4HANA, SAP supply chain, or related certifications.\nOur Culture\nAt Fluence, our culture is the foundation that drives our ambitious growth strategy and fuels our mission to transform the future of energy.
