Through honest, forthcoming, and respectful communications we work to ensure that Fluence is an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.\nABOUT THE POSITION\nThe Senior Resource Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to manage maintenance teams and optimize processes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead by example to ensure everyone stays safe and productive, escalating roadblocks to develop a safe path forward.\nCollaborate with regional directors on financial planning to ensure all activities remain within budget and aligned with financial targets.\nOn-site management of resources staff, including employees, vendors, contractors, etc.\nLead and mentor maintenance technicians and contractors.\nIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment performance\nEnforce OSHA and NFPA safety standards.\nTrain team members on safe work practices and predictive maintenance tools.\nStay current with certifications and industry standards.\nKnowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance on various BESS equipment and related assets (including but not limited to SCADA communications, Inverters, MV (Medium Voltage) & HV operations, HVAC, substations switching & inspections, etc.).\nAct as a mentor and resource for junior team members on complex technical issues. \nCreate and schedule work orders for resource technicians and manage workload for direct reports.\nEither currently hold or able to immediately obtain certifications for OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, and CPR .\nAdvanced knowledge and experience with lock out tag out procedures\nOn-time completion of preventative maintenance activities and early notification of any potential delays to the schedule.\nContinuous improvement of new and existing procedures to increase safety and/or reduce cost/schedule.\nTravel up to 50-80% within your assigned region of projects.\nEnsure Fluence employees under your direction have been added to the correct charge codes and have accurately completed their respective timesheets based on the work performed.\nVerify consistent and thorough execution of preventative maintenance tasks.\nCollaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project maintenance success and alignment with organization objectives.\nFoster relationships with cross-functional teams to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.\nGenerate daily/weekly reports and customer-facing after-action reports, notifying key stakeholders of any reactive work that will need to be performed based on the findings of the scheduled maintenance.\nAble to operate company vehicles both on site as well as on public roads and highways.
