The Accounting Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
Build the financial infrastructure from the ground up (NetSuite, Zip, Shareworks, Pigment).
Stand up a lean finance org for the fastest-growing data center hyperscaler.
Own the full stack from vendor invoice to cap table.
Role Scope
Own indirect tax globally: VAT, GST, and sales and use tax across a multi-entity, multi-country footprint.
Build compliance from the ground up: registrations, filings, and reclaim processes in every jurisdiction we build in.
Advise on transaction structuring, equipment imports, cross-border services, and intercompany flows before the invoice exists.
Automate determination and filing so compliance scales with entities, not headcount.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've owned VAT or indirect tax for a multinational, in-house or in advisory.
You've stood up registrations and filings in new countries under deadline.
You've recovered material VAT through reclaim processes you built.
You give business teams the answer before the transaction, not the correction after.
You work the systems: tax engines, ERP tax codes, and e-invoicing mandates.
Bonus: US sales and use tax on data center equipment. EU and UK VAT depth. Avalara or Vertex. Customs interplay.
