This temporary position will focus on fine-tuning threat detection models, ensuring best practices in endpoint protection, and improving the utilization of our security tools and platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced security technologies and a strong understanding of threat analysis and vulnerability management, with the ability to document and communicate the completed work.\nKey Responsibilities\nPhase 1\nDarktrace Optimization:\nReview and adjust Darktrace models to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.\nMonitor alerts and provide recommendations for tuning AI-driven threat detection.\nCrowdStrike Utilization:\nAssess current CrowdStrike deployment and configurations.\nImplement best practices to maximize endpoint protection and threat intelligence capabilities.\nMicrosoft Purview & Defender:\nAssist in setting up and configuring Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance.\nProvide guidance on leveraging Purview for data classification, risk management, and regulatory compliance.\nOptimize Microsoft Defender for endpoint and cloud security, ensuring advanced threat protection features are fully utilized.\nDevelop and maintain documentation for security configurations and processes.\nProvide training and guidance to internal teams on security tool usage.\nPhase 2\nTenable Vulnerability Management:\nHelp configure and optimize Tenable for vulnerability scanning and reporting.\nInterpret scan results and collaborate with teams to remediate identified risks.\nFortiGate & FortiAnalyzer:\nSupport the setup and ongoing use of FortiGate firewall and FortiAnalyzer for network security monitoring.\nAnalyze logs and reports to identify potential threats and recommend improvements.\nQualifications\nBachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).\nHands-on experience with Darktrace, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Tenable, and Fortinet products.\nStrong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Skills\nRelevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CrowdStrike CCFA, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Security certifications).\nExperience in scripting or automation for security tasks.\nFamiliarity with SIEM platforms and incident response processes.\n\nProsperity/Fluid thanks you for your interest in this opportunity.
