As a fully competent Construction Specialist Engineer, applies diversified knowledge of construction and technical principles, practices, and methods for a range of assignments requiring knowledge and experience with advanced methods, techniques, and procedures. May implement and execute construction support activities on large to mega sized projects worldwide. On the largest projects the Construction Support Specialist V may function as the “lead” for construction support activities. This position has developed a working knowledge in one or more specific construction disciplines.\nDevelop methods, techniques, and procedures for the implementation and trouble shooting of special construction discipline work processes\nSupport projects that are located in the office and in the field\nAnalyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines\nOrganize and prioritize a variety of assignments and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Job Requirements\nAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in a relevant field of study and twelve (12) years of related work experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years for non degree holders; some locations may require additional qualifications to comply with local requirements.\nAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.\nStrong job related technical knowledge required to perform assigned responsibilities.\nAbility to learn, understand, and apply applicable local, provincial, and national regulations, statutes, and guidelines.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within project schedules.\nStrong problem solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.\nThorough understanding of construction operations and related support functions.\nAbility to collaborate effectively and adapt to changing project requirements and conditions.\nCapable of performing constructability assignments in office and site environments.\nBasic computer skills including proficiency in word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.\nAbility to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in support of project execution.\nStrong planning, coordination, and decision making skills.\nPractical experience supporting constructability reviews and construction planning activities.\nAbility to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity throughout project execution.\nOther Job Requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nTo be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
