If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.\nJob Description\nPerform Civil engineering design for in-house projects, including earthworks, site grading, roads, paving, and drainage systems.\nReview and verify contractor-generated Civil designs to ensure safety, quality, compliance, and fitness for purpose.\nCoordinate Civil engineering activities with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project execution.\nProvide technical guidance and support to engineers and designers within the team.\nMentor and develop junior Civil Engineers and Designers.\nExecute Civil engineering activities for both greenfield and brownfield projects.\nPrepare design calculation reports and supporting engineering documentation.\nDevelop Basis of Design documents, project specifications, and engineering standards.\nPrepare scopes of work for geotechnical investigations, topographical surveys, and underground utility scanning surveys.\nReview vendor drawings and perform interdisciplinary squad checks.\nParticipate in 3D model reviews using project review software.\nPrepare material take offs and support project estimating activities.\nEnsure compliance with applicable international standards, local regulations, and project requirements.\nBasic Job Requirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.\nMinimum 10 years of Civil Engineering experience involving earthworks, site grading, roads, paving, and drainage design within petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil, or gas industries.\nMinimum 5 to 7 years of experience with a recognized international FEED or EPC contractor.\nStrong experience in FEED and Detailed Design for both greenfield and brownfield projects.\nSite and construction experience is preferred.\nKnowledge of international design codes and standards including AASHTO, ACI, API, ASTM, AWWA, NFPA, and PIP.\nExperience in earthwork design including rough grading and finish grading.\nExperience in roads and paving design.\nExperience in road geometric design.\nExperience in site development, fencing, and gate design.\nKnowledge of local regulations and standards such as HCIS and Royal Commission requirements.\nExperience in storm water drainage design.\nExperience in potentially contaminated drainage system design.\nExperience in sanitary sewer system design.\nExperience in fire water drainage design.\nExperience in evaporation pond and first flush pond hydraulic design.\nProficiency in drainage design software such as CivilStorm, SewerGEMS, or equivalent industry software.\nProficiency in site grading software such as Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or equivalent industry software.\nAbility to prepare engineering design calculation reports.\nAbility to develop Basis of Design documents, specifications, and engineering standards.\nExperience with 3D project execution environments and review software such as Navisworks and SmartPlant Review (SPR).\nExperience reviewing vendor drawings and conducting squad checks.\nAbility to prepare material take offs.\nStrong communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.\nOther Job Requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nTo be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
