Its purpose is to provide clerical and basic technical support for the department including construction engineers, surveyors and document management.\nAssist in the operation of a construction engineering department\nWork under the direct supervision of a construction engineer or survey party chief to perform various assignments of a construction engineering nature, both technical and clerical\nReceive specific and detailed instructions\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Job Requirements\nCurrently student enrolled and pursuing a degree in Business, Construction field, or Engineering discipline or global equivalent\nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors\nJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job\nAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nOther Job Requirements\nAbility to meet the schedule requirements of the Internship Program\nPreferred Qualifications\nGPA of 3.0 or higher with completion of at least 4 semesters\nInterested in: Construction, Field Engineering, Contracts, Project Controls (Cost, Schedule, Progress), Finance, or Safety • Participation in extra curricular campus programs • Completion of OSHA 10\nTypically has one (1) year of project experience\nAbility to speak/read multiple languages\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
