If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.\nJob Description\nWork with the Fluor Program Manager and Fluor Construction Managers to provide the following:\nWork with the project team to develop overall project sourcing and execution strategy.\nWork with Fluor Construction Manager to develop and execute sourcing plan & BVOA’s for project. Know and understand the sourcing plans for your projects.\nEnsure that the development of the conceptual scope of work during the FEE (Front End Engineering) stage is fully supported.\nWork with construction vendors to document all base scope blocks during FEE that will be used as a basis for each vendor’s Target Value Estimate.\nSupport project teams in optimizing projects by identifying and removing waste and adding value to the projects through Lean Construction practices.\nWork with the project team to develop a master schedule using the Last Planner System.\nWork closely with our customers as well as our engineering and construction partners to drive out high-quality, cost-effective designs that enable high value, low-cost construction driving savings and shared profit for all.\nReview engineering documents, vendor information and final design EI packages as needed with the client, design engineers and others to provide constructability during all phases of the project.\nCoordinate with the appropriate trade partner supervisor to review, walk down, and communicate the scope of work.\nEnsure that you fully understand the scope of work from initial conception to construction completion.\nWork with Fluor Construction Manager and the Fluor Program Manager to determine the estimate structure requirements for your projects.\nDevelop Cost Estimate: This may include working with trade partners to establish scope and associated costs. The cost of performing work item tasks should represent, as close as possible, the scope of work to be performed as identified in Engineering Information and other supporting documents.\nExecute Project Forecasting: This includes maintaining correct and accurate project forecasts. Ensure forecast data is communicated to project controls during the first week of every month. Accurately projecting future project costs and the anticipated dates of execution.\nConstructability/Procurement Savings: Ensure project savings is recognized and entered into OCS daily. Interface and ensure good communication with Program Manager or other CM’s to identify possible savings opportunities. Come prepared to discuss savings in each daily trigger meeting. Adhere to submission deadlines for monthly constructability and procurement savings. \nPlanners will validate all cost estimates to ensure all scope is represented, cost accounted for and grouping is accurate prior to it being considered final.\nTechnically evaluate quotes and bids from trade partners and suppliers with Procurement, Project Controls, P&G PM/Tech and P&G Auditing personnel.\nAll quotes must be validated back to the original cost estimate that backs up the project budget.\nLead and support project teams in the identification of changes in scope or unexpected field conditions and ensuring proper change management is supported and followed.\nDocument all scope changes on a change order prior to the work being performed.\nCoordinate with procurement/project controls to generate & complete an accurate Request for Action (RFA). The information should be provided to procurement/project controls in a timely manner.\nBasic Job Requirements\nAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements\nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors\nJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job\nAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nOther Job Requirements\nStrong working knowledge of construction workflows, subcontractor coordination and field execution\nMinimum of 8 years experience in construction planning, coordination, or management\nExperience using Lean Construction principles and the Last Planner System for schedule management\nSolid understanding of QA/QC processes and ability to contribute to the development and execution of quality plans\nPreferred Qualifications\nDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred\nBasic or intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic or intermediate use of spreadsheets\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
