If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.\nJob Description\nFluor is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager IV to provide overall site leadership and execution management for a multi-billion-dollar EPC Data Center project in Hawesville, Kentucky. This role is responsible for directing all field construction activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of a large-scale mission-critical facility, meeting project objectives for safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.\nThe Construction Site Manager IV will lead a multidisciplinary team of construction professionals, contractors, subcontractors, and craft personnel throughout all phases of project execution. This position requires extensive experience managing complex EPC projects involving civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and mission-critical infrastructure systems supporting advanced data center operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide overall leadership and management of all site construction activities for a billion-dollar-plus EPC Data Center project.\nLead construction supervisors, field engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and craft labor to achieve project milestones safely and efficiently.\nDrive Fluor's commitment to Zero Incidents through implementation of comprehensive safety programs and strong field safety leadership.\nEnsure construction activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, construction drawings, contract requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.\nCoordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Quality, and Commissioning teams to support integrated project execution.\nDevelop and implement construction execution strategies, staffing plans, and work plans to meet project schedules and productivity goals.\nMonitor field productivity, workforce performance, and construction progress while proactively identifying and resolving issues that could impact schedule or cost.\nLead field change management, risk mitigation, and issue resolution efforts.\nOversee installation of critical infrastructure systems including electrical distribution, substations, generators, UPS systems, cooling systems, controls, telecommunications, and other mission-critical systems.\nSupport commissioning, integrated systems testing, startup, turnover, and client acceptance activities.\nServe as the primary site interface with client representatives, suppliers, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project leadership.\nReview and communicate construction progress, forecasts, performance metrics, and recovery plans as required.\nEnsure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.\nBasic Job Requirements\nAccredited four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 10 years of construction experience with significant leadership responsibility on large industrial, commercial, mission-critical, or EPC projects.\nDemonstrated success managing large-scale field construction operations and multidisciplinary construction teams.\nStrong working knowledge of construction execution, project controls, safety management, quality programs, workforce planning, and subcontract management.\nExcellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nAbility to effectively communicate with executives, clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.\nWillingness to work on-site in Hawesville, Kentucky, and support project-driven travel requirements as needed.\n.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\nExperience leading EPC Data Center, hyperscale, mission-critical, semiconductor, advanced technology, or other major capital projects exceeding $1 billion in total installed cost.\nProven experience overseeing installation, commissioning, and startup of critical electrical and mechanical systems.\nKnowledge of data center commissioning, integrated systems testing, and project turnover processes.\nExperience implementing Lean Construction, Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), and productivity improvement initiatives.\nProfessional certifications such as PE, CCM, PMP, or equivalent.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, construction management platforms, and project controls software.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nOther Job Requirements\nWork Location\nThis position will be primarily based at a major EPC Data Center construction site in Hawesville, Kentucky.
