If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.\nJob Description\nThis position is responsible for providing engineering expertise, technical knowledge, and project execution support to ensure high quality engineering deliverables. The role promotes Fluor's competitiveness by delivering cost effective engineering solutions and serving as an Area Lead or technical specialist on assigned projects.\nApply Cost Competitive Execution techniques to develop the most cost effective project solutions.\nDevelop, review, and maintain engineering specifications and design criteria.\nParticipate in activities related to equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.\nAssign work to engineering teams and monitor progress to ensure project objectives are achieved.\nPerform and verify engineering calculations and technical evaluations.\nSpecify equipment and resolve moderately complex engineering issues.\nReview vendor documentation and multidisciplinary deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements.\nIdentify, investigate, and resolve technical discrepancies in coordination with project teams and vendors.\nAnalyze engineering challenges and provide independent recommendations aligned with project and organizational objectives.\nSupport project execution while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and engineering practices.\nPerform other assigned duties related to project and engineering activities.\nPrepare instrument data sheets and specifications for various field instruments.\nDevelop and maintain SmartPlant Instrumentation deliverables.\nPrepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and conduct technical reviews of vendor proposals.\nSupport Control and Instrumentation design activities for EPC projects.\nBasic Job Requirements\nAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in an Engineering discipline.\nMinimum six (6) years of related engineering experience.\nRecognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, where required.\nSome locations may require additional qualifications to comply with local requirements.\nMinimum ten (10) years of EPC experience in Control and Instrumentation Engineering.\nExperience selecting, sizing, and preparing data sheets for various types of field instruments.\nExperience preparing and managing SmartPlant Instrumentation deliverables.\nExperience preparing RFQs and reviewing vendor technical and commercial offers.\nExperience working on Saudi Aramco and SABIC projects.\nStrong job related technical knowledge required to perform assigned responsibilities.\nAbility to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.\nAbility to learn and apply local, provincial, and national regulations, statutes, and guidelines.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within project schedules.\nProfessional registration and membership in relevant technical societies preferred.\nAdvanced knowledge of discipline codes, standards, material availability, and cost considerations.\nPractical field and construction experience preferred.\nIntermediate computer skills including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.\nProficiency in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI).\nProficiency in instrument sizing and calculation tools and methodologies.\nAbility to lead engineering activities and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.\nStrong analytical, problem solving, and technical review skills.\nOther Job Requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nTo be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
