If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.\nJob Description\nFor one of our major projects in Adelaide, we are seeking an experienced and commercially focussed HR IR Manager to lead the HR and Industrial Relations function and partner with project leadership to drive workforce performance and project success.\nReporting to the Project Leadership Team, the HR IR Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of Human Resources. This role is responsible for developing and executing people strategies that support project objectives, ensuring compliance with Australian employment and industrial legislation, mitigating workforce risks and fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the HR function for a Mega Project, providing strategic direction, governance, and operational leadership across all people-related activities throughout the project lifecycle\nAct as the Sr. HR Leader ad trusted advisor to the Project Director and Leadership team\nDevelop and excute the project HR strategy, including workforce planning, talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, succession planning\nLead all workforce mobilization and staffing activities\nBuild, lead, coach and develop a high-performing HR team\nProvide Leadership and oversight for Employee Relations and Industrial Relations, including labour relations planning, employee engagement strategies, workforce risk management \nServe as escalation point for complex, sensitive and high-risk HR and employee relations matters\nPartner with Project Leadership to drive workforce capability and organizational performance\nLead workforce planning\nOversee and ensure consistent application of HR policies\nCollaborate with HR Business Partners, CoE, Payroll and Project Services team\nPartner with Project Quality manager\nConduct and oversee HR field audits\nLead HR training, leadership coaching, and capability-building initiatives\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with employees and other stakeholders\nDrive and Lead continuous improvement of HR practices\nEnsure compliance with Fluor's HSE and Ethical Business standards. \nPlease note that this is a project-specific role supporting a major project in Adelaide.\nBasic Job Requirements\nBachelor degree in Human resources, Industrial relations, Business, Law or related disciplines\n16 years of relevant HR or Industrial Relations experience, preferably within Construction, Mining, Energy, Infrastructure, Engineering or major project environments\nDemonstrated experience managing Industrial Relations within complex, unionized workforces\nStrong knowledge of Australia employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, enterprise bargaining and industrial relations frameworks\nProven ability to influence senior leaders\nStakeholder management, negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills\nStrong commercial acumen, analytical capability and risk management experience\nDemonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams\nTo be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
