Join us and enjoy the following!\nCompetitive salary | Various allowances | Time Off with Pay | Alternating Friday Off Week | Health and Life Insurance | Retirement Plan | Savings and Investment Plan | Employee Assistance Program | Overall Wellbeing Programs | Employee engagement activities | Participation to volunteer programs that impact our community | Membership to various Employee Resource Groups | Comprehensive Training Program | Mentoring Culture\nThe purpose of this position is to:\nExhibit positive attitude towards leaning and applying Design HSE practices\nPromote and foster HSE standards and goals\nDevelop knowledge and skills to meet required levels for upgrade\nPerform routine HSE assignments requiring interface with other disciplines\nPrimary Job Duties/Functions are as follows:\nGuide basic level HSE design personnel\nProduce deliverables as listed below with minimum to no supervision of Senior engineer:Hazardous Classification schedule\nEscape route layout\nSafety equipment, safety sign layout/ specification\nH2S / Toxic Area Layout\nOther protective systems drawings required per project\nHSE Studies and associated reports done in-house\nFire hazards analysis\nTerms of reference for PHA/SIL/LOPA\n\nPrepare a Dispersion/radiation calculations/consequence analysis using PHAST under minimal supervision\nCheck basic level HSE personnel deliverables\nAssist in interpreting and checking for correctness of calculation/studies done by third party consultants\nAssist in interpreting and checking for correctness of dispersion/ radiation models done by vendor\nAssist in preparation of the following HSE deliverables:Definition of applicable standards/regulations for the project\nHSE management Plan\nHFE Specifications/Implementation Plan\nDesign HSE/Protection Philosophy\nSpecifications for Protective Systems\nTerms of reference for HSE Studies usually done by Third Party consultants such as QRA, EIA, RAM, etc.\nHSE Critical Elements Identification and Performance Standards\nALARP Demonstration Report\nDesign HSE Case\nSustainability Plan\nPollution Control Strategies\nEnvironmental Monitoring Plan/Management Plan or similar documents\n\nImplement Inherently Safer Concepts in the design\nParticipate in formal design reviews such as ISD, Layout, P&ID and Model reviews\nParticipate in PHA/SIL/LOPA\nFacilitate HAZID and ensure that results are sufficient to be used for FSAs and other risk management deliverables\nFacilitate small scale HAZOP/SIL/LOPA\nImplement Management of Change in Design Phase\nLead HSE for a small to medium scale project\nDevelop and make a formal presentation when given the opportunity\nBasic Job Requirements\nBS Chemical Engineering or Process Safety equivalent\nMinimum of at least 9 years of relevant experience of Technical/Process Safety work\nHad been involved in Offshore or LNG projects\nSuccessful completion of major projects\nOther Job Requirements\nEffective communication skills\nStrong organizational skills\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nPreferred Qualifications\nIntermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations\nExperience in PHAST, PHA Works, and exSILentia software is an advantage.\nExperience in interpreting CFD results is an advantage.\nExperience in using CAD tools such as AutoCad and Microstation is an advantage.\nExperience in using 3D model viewing tools such as Smart Plant Review and Review Reality or equivalent software is required.\nTo be Considered Candidates:\nMust be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
