Will provide any and all required support needed to meet the business needs of a large enterprise.\nWork with other local wireless support members in an office environment providing intermediate(Tier II) level support of a global Aruba wireless systems.\nProvide incident resolution for all wireless related issues in a global environment which includehardware failure, network connectivity issues, and end user wireless connectivity or performanceissues.\nHandles high-severity tickets and coordinates with industry partners for resolution if required.\nWork with Aruba wireless access points, controllers, switches, ClearPass and Airwave servers.\nCollaborate with client's Networking and Security teams, developer groups and software andhardware vendors to provide optimum system performance and availability.\nIncorporate best practices regarding documentation, monitoring, administration, performancetuning, and patching.\nAssist in quarterly health checks for audit compliance reviews.\nDevelop and recommend solutions to enhance system performance and stability.\nMaintain Aruba equipment and perform system upgrades including code and hardware upgradesand equipment moves.\nFine-tune existing wireless networks by adjusting RF settings, client matching, band steering andadjusting/changing areas of the network to provide optimal wireless solutions to the end-userpopulation.\nAnalyze existing architecture and implementation and make recommendations and changesneeded to improve performance or streamline processes.\nBasic Job Requirements\nAt least 3+ years knowledgeable in network management experience in Cisco, Juniper and Aruba technologies, with strong hands on experience in large LAN/WAN/Wireless environments in the following scope: Analysis, architecture, design, networking, configuration, troubleshooting and support.\nWork Location: Manila\nRequired Work Hours: Hybrid working set-up and Shifting schedules (Monday to Friday). Willing to work on rotating shifts including night shifts.\nMust be able to demonstrate operational knowledge of general networking and security technologies.\nOperational knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture and how WLAN is integrated into the network.\nExperience supporting large wireless networks specifically Aruba technology. Experience with Aruba wireless controllers, gateways, access points, Airwave tool and ClearPass policy manager preferred.\nExperience with DHCP, DNS, VMWare, Riverbed, Linux/Unix servers, CiscoFirewalls/Switches/Routers in a production environment is desired.\nThorough understanding of wireless authentication protocols (802.1x and web captive portal, EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS), security and network management.\nKnowledge of networking and security protocols & the technologies used to secure large enterprise environments.\nKnowledge of HPE/Aruba series mobility gateways and different types of access points including Instant Access Points (IAPs), Remote Access Points (RAPs) and CX/AOS switches.\nAbility to use tools to generate heat maps to provide optimal AP placement to produce wireless signal coverage and meet client requirements.\nAbility to assist with configuration, tuning and optimization of Aruba WLAN systems.\nExperience working with vendor support teams and following escalations procedures as required.\nExperience configuring IPSEC VPN tunnels between two endpoints and experience with HP or Aruba LAN switches.\nMust be able a team player with ability to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced, multinational,environment.\nMust be a quick learner and have good listening skills with strong written and verbalcommunications skills to enhance collaboration in an English speaking company.\nMust have excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.\nMust be able to prioritize and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.\nAbility to collaborate efforts of others in a cross functional environment.\nMust have advanced troubleshooting experience and critical thinking/reasoning ability to quicklyisolate issues in a large-scale network environment.\nMust be customer focused and results oriented.\nExcellent client and relationship management abilities.\nMust know how to use Microsoft Office applications.\nOther Job Requirements\nOne or more Aruba/Cisco/Microsoft certifications.\nPrevious experience working in a NOC environment.\nKnowledge in the use of MS 365 Outlook email.\nData Center and cabling knowledge a plus.\nService oriented qualifications such as ITIL is preferred.\nProject Management qualification such as Prince2 Foundation or PMP certification would be advantageous.\nFluent in English communication skills, other spoken languages may be helpful but not required.\nKnowledge or Experience with any or all of the below desired:\n802.11, wireless analysis & security auditing.
