This role will be part of Fluor’s Energy Solutions Business Line.\nThe role of the junior materials coordinator provides support to senior members of the project team responsible for the proactive planning, monitoring and reporting the lifecycle of materials from engineering through procurement, receiving and construction.\nCreate and distribute reports to key stakeholders related to material status, quantities and requirements\nInput and update data directly in ERM/MRP system related to the status of material from identification through to installation\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems is an asset\nAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nAdhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies\nMay need to travel to attend to business related matters\nMeet expectations on attendance and punctuality\nEnter storage locations of received material into the approved material management reference\nsystem and make changes to locations as required\nInitiate a Material Shipping Report for outbound items being returned\nPrepare materials for staging (bag & tag) to support construction planning schedules\nPrepare substitute packing lists and sub items when required\nProcess Material Receiving Reports, Overages, Shortages, and Damages (OSD) reports, and Field\nMaterial Requisitions in the approved material management reference system\nIssue pick tickets by Bill of Material, mark piece number, Material Shipping Record, or Transfer of Materials\nMaintain Material Certificates\nMaintain files - Receiving and Issuing\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Job Requirements\nAccredited four (4) year Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Industrial Distribution, or any engineering field and no required years of work-related experience\nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors\nJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nOther Job Requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak)\nExperience should be primarily in the area of material management\nGood interpersonal and communication skills\nIntermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
