If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.\nJob Description\nThis position assists in essential job duties and functions with the overall objective of working in a team environment consistently providing top-quality, technical and administrative support to projects from start-up to close-out, while maintain solid customer relationships.\nAssist with major project activities, including support of task force objectives and/or project milestones\nParticipate in task force meetings\nReport directly to a task force project manager or project director\nExecute administrative tasks\nEnsure that project correspondence and project documentation are handled according to a prescribed format\nAssist in writing, editing, and updating the (Project) Procedure Manual and Job Bulletins\nApply in-depth knowledge of set-up, maintenance, and close out of company contract files and records retention procedures in accordance with the Project File Index and Retention Schedule\nUnderstand task force organizational structure and importance of positive interface with Clients and all disciplines toward overall effectiveness of the engineering, procurement, and construction/field effort\nComprehend client billing and task force related charges\nSet up and maintain project log books and correspondence numbering system, both hard copy and electronic in accordance with the Project File Index and Retention Schedule\nMaintain knowledge of contract terms as they apply to reimbursable items, mobilization, overtime, travel, and other situations\nCoordinate activities of other project support technicians\nCoordinate space allocation for project task force\nMaintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards\nPlan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed\nAdhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies\nEffectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job\nMeet expectations on attendance and punctuality\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Job Requirements\nA combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements\nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors\nJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nOther Job Requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nProficient in use of Fluor specialized software programs\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal\nStrong organizational skills, judgment, flexibility\nStrong leadership skills/team player\nTypically requires eight (8) years of project related experience\nDemonstrate proficiency on company standard personal computer equipment and software with the ability to train others\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
