This position provides Process Technology engineering and technical support for intermediate systems with moderate complexity.\nTypical job duties and responsibilities are:\nPerform process engineering assignments such as creating Mass Balances, PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)\nParticipate in P&ID and safety reviews\nPerform pump hydraulics, line sizing, equipment sizing, calculating heat duty, specifying pressure safety devices, instrument sizing, flare header sizing\nPeriodically review work of others to assure overall quality of process designs\nCheck vendor submittals against equipment specifications\nGet familiar with and apply Fluor's practices and procedures.\nAssist in preparation of documents related to Process engineering deliverables\nUnderstand and follow baseline documents for your project\nPerform process studies for more complex systems\nContact and consult with other engineering disciplines within Fluor in addition to process engineers and supervisors\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Job Requirements\nEight (8) years or more of EPC-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field\nBS or MS Degree in Chemical Engineering\nExperience creating P&IDs, PFDs and mass balances\nExperience with pump hydraulics for more advanced systems\nExperience with Pressure Safety Devices - scenario analysis and load calculations\nExperience with control valve sizing\nAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors\nJob related technical knowledge in our industries necessary to complete the job\nApply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines\nApply knowledge of applicable industry guidelines and regulations\nAdvanced experience with Microsoft tools\nAttend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nOther Job Requirements\nEffective communication skills\nStrong organizational skills\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with an EPC company in a process engineering role\nFamiliarity with process simulator tools such as Aspen & Unisim\nFamiliarity with a hydraulic sizing program such as AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow\nActive chemical engineering license in the Philippines\nTo be Considered Candidates:\nMust be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
