If you value teamwork, empowerment in your career, and are eager to champion innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients, this opportunity just may be for you!\nJob Description\nThe purpose of this position is to perform essential project management duties and functions with the overall objective of establishing an execution framework that complies with contractual requirements and ensures the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project.\nThis position is responsible for leading medium to large-sized, moderate to high-risk Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction/Construction Management (EPFC/CM) projects. The role may also be assigned responsibility for a major scope within a mega project. When acting as a Proposal Manager, the position is responsible for managing the development and completion of technical and commercial proposals, including project planning, execution strategies, means and methods, schedule development, cost estimating, and Project Execution and Commercial Execution Strategies.\nPromote and maintain a strong Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture throughout all phases of the project.\nEnsure project execution is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations, Fluor's Operating System Requirements (OSR), and the applicable Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP).\nEnsure compliance with Fluor's contract requirements, including client reporting, notifications, project start-up, and close-out activities.\nEstablish, maintain, and communicate project baselines in accordance with OSR requirements.\nDeliver projects in alignment with approved execution and commercial baselines.\nLead and manage medium to large-scale data centre projects (60MW+) and mission-critical facilities through preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.\nManage multiple moderate-risk project scopes, including Lump Sum and/or GMP delivery models.\nLead technical and commercial proposal development, including execution planning, means and methods, scheduling, and estimating.\nManage project change control, including cost and schedule impacts.\nBuild, develop, and maintain high-performing teams, both internally and externally.\nProvide leadership and mentoring while remaining current with evolving technologies and data service delivery practices.\nEnsure compliance with company standards and client requirements.\nProvide technical support, advice, and guidance throughout Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning phases.\nLiaise with Owner ICT teams and vendors to ensure Owner specifications are understood and followed.\nManage program budgets and schedules while delivering accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.\nEngage early during preconstruction to identify value engineering opportunities for off-site deliverables.\nCollaborate with design teams to proactively address MEP coordination and clash detection activities.\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Job Requirements\nAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements \nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders \nJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job\nAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nOther Job Requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nProven experience delivering medium to large-scale data center projects and mission-critical facilities.\nStrong background in preconstruction, procurement, and construction, with specific experience in fiber optics, security systems, BMS, telecommunications, and ICT infrastructure.\nStrong leadership, client relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nKnowledge of data centre ICT disciplines, including infrastructure management, security, energy efficiency, data management, network management, and industry standards supporting resilient and secure data centre operations.\nAbility to set and maintain high standards of self performance with responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments and tasks.\nDemonstration of innovation, initiative, maturity, and sound judgment\nAbility to influence a group of diverse individuals, each with their own goals, needs, and perspectives, to work together effectively for the good of a project\nMobility - for example, travel to site locations\nFluor Canada rewards hard work, knowledge, and commitment.
