If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.\nJob Description\nMonitor supplier progress for complex engineered equipment and large bulk commodity orders against contractual delivery milestones and manufacturing schedules\nTrack supplier performance and identify potential delivery risks or schedule impacts and develop and implement recovery plans when required\nProactively communicate anticipated delays to Supply Chain, Project and Client management\nCoordinate resolution of overages, shortages, and damages (OSD) with suppliers and internal stakeholders\nReview project requirements and develop discipline specific staffing plan for review\nParticipate in weekly expediting meetings to align expectations and schedules\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date expediting status and reports using approved material management ERP system\nHave a strong understanding of supplier manufacturing processes, delivery risk, and contract-driven milestones\nOrganize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines\nAdhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies\nMay need to travel to attend to business related matters\nMeet expectations on attendance and punctuality\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Job Requirements\nAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements\nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors\nJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job\nAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nOther Job Requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak)\nWorking toward applicable professional certification(s) or license(s)\nExperience should be primarily in the area of material management\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nExcellent computer literacy and skills\nExcellent leadership and decision-making skills\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
