Under close, direct supervision of material management specialists, this position assists in performing administrative and fundamental procurement assignments, material shipment tracing, and expediting activities with vendors, if necessary.\nMaintain material management logs and input material management commitment-related information into databases (such as approved material management reference system, Maximo, etc.)\nRouting materials to assigned storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizing materials.\nMay be required to update approved material management reference system for buyers\nOperate hand and power trucks in performing warehouse duties\nOrganize and maintain files\nOther duties as assigned\nBasic Job Requirements\nNo required education or directly related experience; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements\nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors\nJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job\nAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner\nOther Job Requirements\n*** Must have an active TS/SCI clearance ***\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent\nReasonably good interpersonal and communication skills\nIntermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs\nMaterial handling equipment certifications\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
