Enjoy the best of both worlds with winter and summer offices, tantalizing free snacks and a gaming paradise for endless entertainment.\n\nWhat you'll do:\nPipeline Development & Data Modelling\nDesign, build, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines that ingest data from event streams, transform it through structured layers, and serve it to downstream consumers\nDevelop and maintain core data models providing a single source of truth for poker gameplay, player activity, and commercial metrics\nEnsure data pipelines are idempotent, well-tested, and monitored with appropriate alerting\nPlatform & Governance\nContribute to data platform governance including data cataloguing, access control configuration, and data quality monitoring\nMaintain infrastructure-as-code definitions for data pipeline resources and platform configuration\nCollaboration & Delivery\nParticipate in squad ceremonies and collaborate with product, analytics, and data science teams to gather and refine data requirements\nSupport downstream consumers in understanding available data products and their appropriate use\n\nWhat you'll bring:\nEssential\nExperience building data pipelines in a cloud-based data lakehouse or data warehouse environment, including both batch and streaming ingestion patterns\nStrong skills in Python and SQL for data transformation, processing, and pipeline development\nExperience with event-driven data ingestion from streaming platforms, including schema management and consumer group coordination\nSolid understanding of data modelling concepts including star schema, medallion architecture, and slowly changing dimensions\nAbility to work collaboratively within an Agile squad alongside product, analytics, and engineering colleagues\nDesirable\nExperience with Databricks, including notebooks, jobs, and Unity Catalog for data governance\nFamiliarity with Kafka for stream ingestion and real-time data product consumption\nExperience with Terraform for data infrastructure provisioning and environment management\nBackground with Protobuf or similar schema serialisation formats for structured event data\nExperience in regulated or B2B platform environments where data compliance and auditability are important\nIt’s ok if you don’t think you tick every box on this list.
