Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.\nFanatics is hiring a Program Manager to join the VIP Strategy & Operations team. This role will help bring greater structure, clarity and consistency to a fast-moving business as it continues to scale. Your job is to turn priorities into action and make sure important work moves forward. You will independently run programs, establish practical operating mechanisms, drive team cadences, improve how work gets done, and provide clear visibility into progress, risks and decisions.\nThis role requires someone who is exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple priorities, workstreams, dependencies and stakeholders without losing sight of the details or the broader objective. You will be expected to anticipate what is needed, identify gaps early and maintain clear ownership and follow-through across the team. \nYou will also use data and AI tools such as Claude to simplify workflows, create agents to automate recurring work and make the team more effective.\nThe right person has a proven track record of bringing structure to fast-moving priorities, driving complex programs to completion, and building practical operating mechanisms while knowing when process adds value versus when it creates unnecessary friction.\nResponsibilities\nProgram Management & Independent Projects\nOwn cross-functional projects from definition through execution, including scope, milestones, owners, timelines and outcomes.\nIdentify business needs that require focused project ownership and build a clear plan to address them.\nBreak ambiguous priorities into clear workstreams, decisions and action items.\nManage multiple workstreams, dependencies and stakeholders while keeping priorities and timelines clear.\nDrive owners against commitments and follow through until actions are completed.\nSurface risks, dependencies and missed deadlines early and drive resolution.\nStep into high-priority, unstructured projects as business needs emerge and independently move them forward.\nProcess, Efficiency & AI\nIdentify opportunities to make the team faster, clearer and more consistent as the business scales.\nDesign and implement lightweight processes, workflows and tools that improve execution and accountability.\nEvaluate whether new processes are helping and simplify or adjust them when needed.\nDefine clear ownership, handoffs and decision points where they add value.\nUse Claude and other AI tools to automate recurring work, synthesize information and reduce manual effort.\nContinuously look for practical ways to improve how the team operates.\nTeam Operating Rhythm & Communication\nOwn and run key team meetings across the org, including agendas, materials, decisions and follow-up.\nCapture clear action items, owners and deadlines and drive them to completion after each meeting.\nMaintain a consolidated view of team priorities, active projects and outstanding actions.\nProvide concise leadership updates covering progress, risks, decisions and areas requiring attention.\nEnsure important information and decisions are communicated clearly to the right teams.\nUse data, dashboards and business inputs to surface issues or opportunities the team should act on.\nExperience and Skills\nRequired\n6-8 years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, consulting, business operations or a similar role.\nProven experience independently owning complex projects and driving cross-functional teams to measurable outcomes.\nDemonstrated experience building or improving processes, workflows or operating mechanisms in prior roles.\nExceptional organizational skills with a track record of creating clarity, maintaining rigorous follow-through and ensuring details do not fall through the cracks.\nEvidence of improving ways of working while keeping processes practical, lightweight and adaptable.\nStrong analytical skills and demonstrated use of data to drive decisions and action.\nPractical experience using Claude or similar AI tools to automate or improve real business workflows.\nExcellent written communication and experience creating clear, concise updates for senior leaders.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive accountability without formal authority.\nHigh energy, low ego and comfort taking ownership in ambiguous environments.\nPreferred\nExperience in a high-growth technology, consumer, sports, gaming or entertainment business.\nExperience supporting senior executives or working within a Strategy & Operations organization.\nWhy this role\nDirect exposure to senior VIP and Fanatics leadership.\nOpportunity to shape how a rapidly growing business operates and scales.\nA front-row seat to decision-making across sports, gaming and entertainment.\nA small team where strong execution and better ways of working have immediate, visible impact.\nDepending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE-a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires.
