That's our mission, and we're just getting started.\nThe Role\nFlux is building the world’s first AI Hardware Engineer, and that means everything around it has to just work.\nAs a Platform Engineer, you’ll work on the full-stack systems that power Flux’s platform experience beyond the editor: billing, authentication, onboarding, and integrations.\nYou’ll ship production features that touch every user, keep the lights on, and make it possible for Flux to scale.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and maintain user-facing platform features (billing, auth, onboarding, settings).\n\nIntegrate and maintain third-party APIs (Stripe, Firebase, analytics).\n\nWrite TypeScript/Node backend services and React frontend components.\n\nImprove reliability and performance of core platform flows.\n\nImplement observability, logging, and error-tracking standards.\n\nCollaborate across teams to design APIs that support new products and integrations.\n\nDocument architecture and best practices for your domain.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience.\n\nStrong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.\n\nExperience integrating and maintaining 3rd party APIs.\n\nProven track record shipping production full-stack web apps.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud hosting (GCP/AWS/Firebase) and CI/CD basics.\n\nStrong debugging and cross-system troubleshooting skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication; thrives in async, remote teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with multi-tenant SaaS or collaborative web platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with auth frameworks (OAuth, JWT, Firebase Auth).\n\nExposure to observability stacks (Sentry, Datadog, Grafana).\n\nPrior experience building internal tools or admin dashboards.\n\nStartup or 0 → 1 product-building experience.\n\nProfile\nImpact-oriented: You don't feel done until real people are getting real value from what you built.\nAmbiguity-native: You thrive in the undefined.
