Working assigned shifts, the Driver is required to be available for overtime during the winter season.\nHere is how the Temp Driver role will help:\nDevelop or participate in the job safety analysis procedures.\nOperate vehicles and equipment such as single axle tandem and tri axle dump trucks, 28-foot snow removal equipment, 20 passenger bus, 26 foot brush hog grass cutter, street sweepers, runway painting equipment, sewer cleaning equipment, deicer trucks with 50 foot & 75 foot booms, fuel truck and assorted trailers including 40 foot low boy trailer;\nCheck oil, hydraulic fluid, and water levels.\nApply grease to vehicle and equipment lubrication points.\nHaul equipment to job sites.\nEffectively communicates on radio.\nTravel on the A.O.A. using tower communications radio.\nWork safely and abide by all ACAA safety guidelines.\nMaintain good working relations with management and co-workers, representing the ACAA in a professional manner at all times.\nPerform other related tasks as assigned or required.\nQualifications\nRequirements to apply for role of Temp Driver are:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nTwo years of experience as a driver in a maintenance environment.\nMust provide his/her own personal protective footwear Composite toe safety shoes)\nMust possess a current, valid Pennsylvania Class \"A\" or “B” Commercial Drivers License (C.D.L.).\nThe qualified candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.\nKnowledge of F.A.A. ground control and radio procedures.\nKnowledge of occupational hazards and techniques of safety precautions and injury prevention programs.\nAbility to work under adverse climatic conditions for extended hours.\nAbility to work independently or as a team member for projects.\nAbility to learn airfield and safe driving procedures for independent movement on the airfield.\nServe the public and fellow employees with honesty and integrity in full accord with the letter and spirit of the Authority's Ethics Policy.\nExhibit behavior reflective of the Authority’s Values “SOARING.”.\nAbility to work all shifts scheduled or assigned in a 24/7 operation.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
