You will act as the central point of coordination for testing activities, working closely with product teams, engineers, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners to build confidence in every release.\nThis is a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen quality assurance practices in a growing international retail business where technology plays an increasingly important role in delivering great customer experiences.\nAbout the role\nFrom customer loyalty programmes and self-checkout solutions to ERP implementations and business-critical applications, you will make sure every change is thoroughly tested before reaching our customers, stores, and colleagues.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nDefining and establishing testing methodologies, processes, and best practices to ensure a consistent and scalable approach to quality assurance.\nPlanning, coordinating, and managing testing activities across multiple projects, releases, and business-critical initiatives.\nLeading and overseeing System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\nDefining test entry and exit criteria, quality gates, defect management processes, and release readiness assessments.\nWorking closely with engineering teams to increase automated test coverage and support the integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines.\nIdentifying, managing, and communicating quality risks, defects, and testing progress to stakeholders and programme leadership.\nCoordinating testing efforts across internal teams, external vendors, and implementation partners.\nChallenging suppliers and stakeholders to ensure agreed quality standards and testing deliverables are met.\nAbout you\nYou are a structured and proactive Test Manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing people, processes, and technology together to deliver high-quality solutions.\nWe imagine that you:\nHave experience working as a Test Manager, QA Manager, or in a similar role within complex technology environments.\nUnderstand both traditional and agile delivery models and know how to adapt testing approaches accordingly.\nAre comfortable balancing quality requirements, business priorities, and delivery timelines in a fast-paced environment.\nHave strong communication and stakeholder management skills and can engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.\nTake a structured, analytical, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.\nIt would be an advantage if you have:\nHave experience with test automation and are familiar with tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, BrowserStack or similar technologies.\nExperience from retail, omnichannel, eCommerce, POS, loyalty, or store technology environments.\nHave experience with test management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, qTest, or equivalent.\nExperience supporting large-scale business transformation programmes or ERP implementations.\nAn ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification or an equivalent professional qualification.\nFlying Tiger Copenhagen offers\nProbably the best location - in the heart of Copenhagen. \nAttractive pension. \nPrivate health insurance - also including children. \nFlexibility with the possibility of working from home. \nFun and dynamic culture. \nSocial workplace with parties, Friday bars, staff club etc. \nInternational work environment founded in Scandinavian culture. \nRestaurant food every day.\nAnd much more…\nIf this resonates with you, we cannot wait to hear from you!\nDid you know…\nWe take climate change very seriously and work very hard to minimize our carbon footprint.
