This role would suit an experienced construction professional with a strong background across all aspects of project delivery.\nRole Responsibilities\nEnsure the client’s expectations are met by delivering a quality product to the end user while fostering professional and collaborative relationships with design teams and client representatives.\nMaintain the highest standards in health and safety, quality and client service, ensuring that contracts are completed safely, in line with the programme, within budget and snag free.\nReport progress, risks and key issues accurately and in a timely manner to the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.\nLead, manage and coordinate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed to the required standard with little or no rework.\nPlan, coordinate and execute the works, taking ownership of site delivery in accordance with the contract documents and project programme.\nMaintain excellent working relationships with the construction management team, design team, subcontractors, client representatives and supply chain.\nResource, sequence and schedule works in line with the project construction programme, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays.\nWork closely with the Project QS and wider project team, providing early notice of commercial, programme and delivery issues.\nThe Candidate\nDemonstrates extensive knowledge of the construction industry, site management and the delivery of large, complex projects.\nComputer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or a similar scheduling package.\nProven ability to develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.\nKeen eye for quality and finishes, with a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard.\nExcellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong leadership and reporting skills.\nSelf-starter with sound judgement and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.\nStrong people manager with the ability to lead, motivate and drive site teams and subcontractors.\nCommercially conscious, with strong awareness of project cost, risk, programme and market conditions.\nCareer Path\nFlynn implement a highly structured career progression programme through a continual professional development programme (PDP) and mentoring programme, which has been a foundation of our success.
