If you would like to join a company who wins high profile projects with blue chip clients and if you enjoy working in a challenging environment, then Flynn is the company for you.\nREPORTING TO: Project Manager/Contracts Manager\nPurpose of Role\nSet out the construction works on site and ensure that all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.\nRole Responsibilities\nAssist the Project Manager/Senior Engineer with day-to-day management of the site technical & engineering requirements (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Design Team Workshops, etc.).\nAssist the Project Manager/Senior Engineer so that quality control measures on the site are implemented and are in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project.\nUnderstand the short-term programme ensuring that all requisite documents and information is available to enable the Project Team and Sub-contractors to complete the works in accordance with the programme.\nSupport the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure that works are completed as per programme, on budget to a high standard.\nWork with the Project Team to identify any information gaps, develop solutions and rectify in conjunction with the site and design team in a timely manner.\nMaintain an excellent relationship with the construction management team, subcontractors and supply chain.\nThe Candidate\nThird level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.\nKnowledge of construction techniques - competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, with an understanding of temporary works co-ordination.\nStrong numeracy and record keeping skills, excellent organisational ability\nUnderstanding of project planning and programming\nAbility to make informed decisions & know when to escalate\nComputer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package)\nCareer Path\nFlynn implement a highly structured career progression programme through a continual professional development programme (PDP) and mentoring programme which has been the foundation to our success.
