This position is primarily assigned to the storm water treatment area during the daily work shift, however will perform other duties as assigned.\nThe Process Operator is mainly a hands-on position in which the employee performs the operation of specified collection, containment, anaerobic treatment processes in the storm water treatment facility during an assigned shift.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:\nStarts, stops and changes pumps and valves as required.\nReports emergencies or unusual conditions.\nAssists in the recording and adjustments of the storm water collection, containment and treatment system.\nMonitors localized equipment for proper operation\nPlows ramp areas and airside roadways.\nCleans the ramp area with glycol collection equipment.\nMay be required to perform any other related duties as assigned.\nParticipates in Total Quality Management Programs\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
