This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of experienced engineers, foster innovation, and collaborate with experts across functions and geographies to make a tangible impact on FMC’s global manufacturing network.\nProcess Engineering Manager\nYou will lead and develop the Process Engineering team within the AI Tech Center, providing technical leadership across process development, scale-up, industrialization, and technology transfer. Working closely with R&D, Process Chemistry, and global technical teams, you will support New Product Introduction (NPI) and drive step-change innovations for established products throughout their commercial lifecycle. Your focus will be on strengthening engineering capabilities and delivering safe, robust, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing technologies that enhance FMC’s global competitiveness.\nWhat you will do with us:\nLead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Process Engineers and Senior Process Engineers, managing performance, resources, priorities and succession planning.\nDefine and prioritize an engineering innovation portfolio aligned with NPI, process technology roadmaps and high-value improvements to established products.\nLead engineering activities from early-stage process development through pilot validation, scale-up and commercial industrialization, ensuring safe, robust, scalable and economically viable processes.\nEnsure engineering readiness and technical delivery for NPI and support the technology transfer of established products.\nDrive step-change innovations in manufacturing capacity, yield, process safety, process robustness, sustainability and cost competitiveness.\nOversee conceptual engineering and basic design to enable the successful delivery of capital projects supporting step-change innovations and NPIs\nEstablish and promote engineering standards and process safety practices, including PSM, PHA, HAZOP and LOPA, across process development, scale-up and major technology changes.\nProvide technical direction and critical review of complex engineering work, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.\nKey Requirements:\nMaster’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline; PhD is an advantage.\n10+ years of industrial experience in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals or specialty chemicals, with strong expertise in process development, engineering design, scale-up and commercial manufacturing.\nProven line-management experience leading experienced engineers, including performance management, coaching, resource planning and technical capability development.\nDemonstrated track record in NPI, technology transfer, process scale-up and significant process innovation projects.\nStrong knowledge of chemical engineering, process design, process safety, techno-economic assessment and manufacturing optimization.\nExperience with process safety management and risk assessment methodologies, including PHA, HAZOP and LOPA.\nExperience with process simulation and engineering design tools; proficiency in Aspen and AutoCAD is preferred.\nAbility to lead senior technical specialists, challenge engineering solutions, prioritize competing projects and drive innovation.\nStrong cross-functional leadership and communication skills in a global organization.\nFluent in written and spoken English.\nAre You Ready to Make an Impact?\nIf you're passionate about making a difference and share our values of diversity, collaboration, and quality, we encourage you to submit your application today.
