Previous experience in a supervisory role required.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required (Master’s degree preferred)\nSkills: Insurance industry designations necessary: INS 21, 22 and 23 courses; PBP designation, AFIS and/or CIC designation. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel.\nRESPONSIBILITIES : \nCollaborates with other department and division heads to develop, communicate, and execute budget, goals, and strategies.\nIdentifies, assesses, communicates, monitors, and manages potential risks in accordance with the company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program.\nManages Ag Brokerage Solutions (ABS) program employees in the department in accordance with the organizations policies, procedures, missions, vision, and culture, maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment.\nLeads and evaluates employees using the performance management and development process to provide a foundation to encourage employee contributions, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, and career development planning.\nLeads program teams to successful strategic results.\nCoaches, mentors, and develops staff, providing career development opportunities.\nProficient with all applicable ABS systems, products, underwriting rules, and guidelines.\nManages the development, implementation, and updating of all program products, policies, and procedures.\nManges reinsurance placement and carrier relationships.\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization by Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company, SI.
