In this role, the Project Manager III leads cross-functional efforts to develop new commercial products, new Law Enforcement products, or other strategic initiatives related to company goals. The Project Manager III also leads advancement of Project Management methodologies within FN America and trains less experienced Project Managers.\nJob Duties\nManages new product development, industrialization, CAPEX, or business-related projects of the highest complexity. \nDevelops project schedules and work plans using appropriate project management tools and methodologies, while ensuring accountability for timely delivery across the project team.\nManages strategic initiatives as assigned. Develops processes and new ways of working for emerging business opportunities.\nMentors less experienced Project Manager Is and IIs or other contributors in project management practices.\nMitigates risks, meets budget, and meets project cost targets with little to no supervision.\nEvaluates complex trade-offs and makes or recommends decisions based on known facts and experience.\nContributes to the Project Management methodology and mindset throughout the organization.\nOther duties as assigned*.\nEducational Requirements\nBachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business Management, or related field is required.\nExperience Requirements\nSeven years of experience in complex project management in a cross-functional teaming environment developing products for commercial or military applications is required. Seven years of experience leading project teams is also required (may be concurrent).\nSkills and Competencies\nAll FN America employees are expected to demonstrate accountability, collaboration, communication, customer focus, and innovation.
