This role is designed for individuals beginning their career in RPA development, with a focus on learning, growth, and contribution to automation initiatives.\n\nAssist in identifying opportunities for automation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.\n\nSupport the development and testing of RPA solutions using approved tools and frameworks.\n\nDocument business processes and assist in translating them into automation workflows.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and adhere to programming standards and governance requirements.\n\nCollaborate with senior developers and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions.\n\nMaintain and troubleshoot existing automation scripts under supervision.\n\nLearn and apply best practices in RPA development, including error handling and performance optimization.\n\nParticipate in training and development activities to build technical and professional skills.\n\nContribute to reporting and documentation to support decision-making and project tracking.\n\nQualifications\n\n• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\n\n• Experience developing automation solutions using one or more RPA platforms.\n\n• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.\n\n• Understanding of workflow automation, business processes, and system integrations.\n\n• Experience with version control systems such as Git.\n\n• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.\n\nExperience\n\n• RPA Development (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate, etc.)\n\n• Programming languages such as:\n\n– C#\n\n– Python\n\n– VB.NET\n\n– Java\n\n• SQL and database management\n\n• API integration (REST/SOAP)\n\n• Excel automation and data processing\n\n• Web automation and desktop automation\n\n• Exception handling and logging\n\n• Process orchestration and scheduling\n\nImportant Closing Date Note\n\nTake note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below.\n\n12/10/26\n\nAll appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group’s Employment Equity plan.
